정리/일기 2011. 1. 14. 22:19- It was very hard because I continuously got snow even while I was sweeping.

- I could choose to use public transportation instead, but I drove to work and it became a bad choice.

- 일단 조동사다음에 have pp는 일반적인 현재완료처럼 과거부터 현재까지 쭉이 아닙니다.
조동사담에 오는 행동에 대해 과거로 표현하고 싶은데, 조동사담엔 동사원형밖에 없으니
have pp를 쓴거죠. 즉 과거에 이미 일어난 일을 묘사한거죠. 그러다보니 후회가 되기도 하고 그런거죠.
would have pp ~할거였었는데...(근데 안했어)
A: she said she would go shopping this morning. .오늘 아침에 쇼핑간다고 하던데.
B: she would have gone the day before, 그 전날 갈거렸었을텐데...(왜 안갔지?)
could have pp ~할수 있었을텐데...(근데 못했어)
I could understand him. 난 그를 이해할수 있었다.
I could have understood him before. 전에도 이해할수 있었을텐데....(그땐 못했다)
should have pp ~해야만 했었어...(근데 못해서 아쉬워)
the party was great. you should have been there! 파티 죽였여. 왔어야 했는데..(왜 안왔어, 밥팅아~)
you should come to my party next time. 담번엔 꼭 와야만해.

forget + 동명사 : 과거에 ~한 것을 잊다.
forget + to 부정사 : 미래에 ~ 할 것을 잊다.
remember + 동명사 : 과거에 ~ 한 것을 기억한다.
remember + to 부정사 : 미래에 ~ 할 것을 기억한다.
like + 동명사 : 일반적인 상황. ex) I like swimming. I want to be a good swimmer.
like + to 부정사 : 구체적인 상황. ex) I like to swim. It is too hot. (수영하고 싶어, 날씨가 무척 덥거든.)
be used to 동명사 : ~ 하는데 익숙하다.
be used to 부정사 : ~ 하기 위해 사용되다.
try + 동명사 : ~ 하는 것을 시도하다. ex) He tried persuading her. 설득을 시도했다. (시도 후 상태)
try + to 부정사 : ~ 하려고 하다. ex) He tried to persuade her. 설득하려고 했다. (시도 전 상태)
regret + 동명사 : 과거에 ~ 한 것을 후회하다. ex) I regretted tell her what I thought.
regret + to 부정사 : 미래에 ~ 하게 되어 유감스럽다. ex) I regret to say that she is guilty.
go on + 동명사 : 지금까지 해 온 일을 계속하다. ex) Do you go on telling the story?
go on + to 부정사 : 새로운 어떤 것으로 계속 이어가다. ex) After introducing the writer, he went on to give details of the book.
