I left my mouse at school today so I'll just write a short entry. (I hate using a computer without a mouse).
I sometimes watch Korean movies to improve my listening abilities.
Of course I need subtitles, but I still think it's a good method.
At the very lea-st it's better for my Korean than watching English movies.
I can hear swears and slangs that I can't find in textbooks, and above all I get to hear the actors speak at a natural speed.
I wanted to watch a good movie so I watched one by the famous Korean director 김기덕.
I watched his "3 Iron/ Empty House" movie.
I didn't know anything about it, I'd just heard the title a lot.
I chose a bad movie for trying to study Korean.
As people who have seen the movie will know, it's a good movie, but not a good way to study Korean.
The main characters barely speak. The female lead says only a single word. 

The male lead doesn't speak at all.
At any rate I saw an entertaining movie so I'm happy.

get to + V : - 하게된다.

미국식 발음 = wanted, t를 약하게해서 "워니드"

At any rate : 어쨌든

sometimes 발음 = 썸탐즈

get to = 겟뜨

choose-chose = 쵸우즈

have to vs get to

gotta (got  to) 는 have got to 를 줄인 표현으로 have to 의 의미로 쓰입니다.

have (got) to 와 get to는 얼핏 뜻이 비슷해 보이기도 합니다.

하지만 알고 보면 전혀 뉘앙스가 다릅니다. have to는 화자가 자신이 

처한 환경 때문에 어쩔 수 없이 어떤 일을 해야 한다는 의미입니다.

반면 get to는 화자가 본인의 업무를 의무로 생각하는 것이 아니라

본인이 원하고 당연히 해야할 일 또는 본인에게 주어진 하나의 특별한

기회로 생각하는 것(긍정적)을 뜻합니다.

따라서 본질을 대하는 태도에 있어서 have to와는 180도 다릅니다.
